I was stopped at a traffic signal when I took this image. Every day I see at least one electric car on the road in Silicon Valley. Doesn't matter where I am going, there is always at least one. They used to be more rare, but they're getting more popular with more options available. It's exciting.
If you can't tell the vehicle is the Tesla Model S and it's a very powerful sedan. The motor is 250 HP and even thought the vehicle weighs more than 2 tons it can get up to 60 MPH in less than 4 seconds. I've been told that it's like riding a roller coaster on the ground, because there is almost no noise from the motor.
Thankfully I have my Galaxy Note 2 with me, and can capture images of these awesome cars. I hope to someday own my own.
