This is somewhat of a continuation from the first post. When I realized that the sun was breaking through the trees and just barely touching the building I thought it might have had some other effect. I was correct. Behind me was another place where the sun shone on the bars of the fence at the entrance to my office.
This picture doesn't do it the justice it deserves, but this is an Android photo blog, not a DSLR blog (and there are already hundreds of those).
I love the contrast of colors. It looks like the fence was painted that way or that it is rusting, rather than the sun hitting it from an odd direction.
In my fantasy-imbued imagination I see the iron being melted away by some high-powered laser, that was somehow partially reflected here. The iron is red hot from the beam, which isn't far from accurate.
